Annual Fishing Event Each year, SOFA sponsors a trip to Limestone Springs Fishing Preserve in Richland, PA. We reserve the on-site pavilion and enjoy a hearty lunch while we fish for the afternoon. Often members of the congregation sponsor a few fish for us to catch and bring home for them to enjoy. We usually bring enough fish home for the
Wobble Trap Shoot We frequently enjoy outdoor shooting events at Martz’s Game Farm in Pillow, PA on Sunday afternoons when the weather is warm. The pavilion and wobble trap are covered in case of rain, this is typically a rain or shine event. And of course, we always find a reason to fire up the grill and enjoy some food during our fellowship.
“Fanny in Susquehanny” – We typically float from Halifax to Clarks Ferry bridge area. Approximately a 4-5 hour trip. A great opportunity to see bald eagles and excellent fishing! No intimidating water, and safe for everyone. BYOK (Bring your own kayak). See Harold if you need help finding a boat for the event.
